Launched as an initiative by French President Emmanuel Macron, The Fashion Pact began as a call to action to fashion CEOs to rally and build a courageous collective to address the industry’s effect on the environment. The pact was then presented to the Heads of State at the G7 Summit in Biarritz in 2019.

Since then, The Fashion Pact has brought together leading fashion companies, representing one-third of the industry by volume across the entire value chain, including luxury brands, high street retailers, sportswear manufacturers, and suppliers. With over 50+ CEOs representing more than 160 brands, The Fashion Pact is a united front driving a profound shift towards sustainability by undertaking concrete Joint Actions.

The fashion Pact is a public interest organization.

Project Assistant Intern

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Assistant Intern to support our Head of Programs on multiple projects across our 4 areas of action: Renewable Energy, Lower Impact Production, Biodiversity, and Lower Impact Materials for a minimum period of 6 months. This is a truly unique opportunity with a ground-breaking coalition working towards an entire sector transformation in sustainability.

The position will report and provide support to the Project Managers based in Paris and remotely on projects including the following:

Our internships offer first-hand exposure to a third of the global fashion industry as well as key technical experts and NGO partners who work with The Fashion Pact.

Desirable qualities

To apply for this role, you must be currently enrolled in an educational/university programme delivering an internship agreement (‘convention de stage’) and have capacity to work in France (EU passport and/or Student Visa).
